Meet the Author
Emily Cseh Eby has been a teacher in Indianapolis for 5 years now. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Dylen and their dog Chauncy. She was named her school’s teacher of the year in 2023. She cares deeply about making sure all her students feel loved, and welcome in her classroom. This book, and the JOY journey, will help many more teachers around the world instill JOY in their classrooms.

About the Book
Jordie knows that the world thinks you can find joy in so many things. Things like toys, games, clothes, food, etc. However, she doesn’t believe that is where you find joy. She knows that joy is found inside yourself, and in the people you surround yourself with. It doesn’t matter what school you go to, what your house looks like, who is in your family, or what you look like. She knows positive experiences with the people she loves is what activates that joy inside her. Each and every person has it in their hearts. It is right there, in the middle.
